What is the Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event?
The Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event is a celebration is a remembrance of the Elder Scrolls Online content of year 2021.
When is the Gates of Oblivion Celebration active?
The Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event will be hosted for the first time mid November, 2023.
What do I need to participate?
To be able to participate you need to own Blackwood and the Deadlands DLC. And also the Dread Cellar, Red Petal Bastion, Black Drake Villa and The Cauldron dungeons. If you have an active ESO plus subscription you can access all event releated zones and dungeons.
What is special about the Gates of Oblivion Celebration Event?
During the Event you can earn Double rewards:
  • for defeating World Boss,Delve Boss and Oblivion Portal Boss enemies in Blackwood and the Deadlands
  • for completing Daily Repeatable quests in Blackwood and the Deadlands
  • for killing bosses in the Rockgrove Trial
  • for defeating bosses within the Dread Cellar, Red Petal Bastion, Black Drake Villa and The Cauldron dungeons
  • earn Double yield from harvesting nodes in Blackwood and the Deadlands
Completing your first daily repeatable quest in Blackwood and the Deadlands will award a Glorious event reward Coffer which contains valuable rewards. Furthermore you can find sometimes regular event reward coffers by completing more daily repeatable quests and participating in actvities within Blackwood and the Deadlands. Other activites are for example killing delve, world, public dungeon or oblivion portal bosses, oblivion portal final chest, random enemies blackwood and the deadlands, treasure chests and safeboxes, resource nodes, thieves troves or by pickpocketing npcs.
Furthermore you can earn a glorious dungeon coffer once per day by defeating the final boss of the Dread Cellar, Red Petal Bastion, Black Drake Villa or The Cauldron dungeon. Of course you can also earn more reward coffers if you want to complete the dungeons multiple times.
If you defeat the final dungeon boss on veteran difficulty you will get two reward coffers. If one of these would be eligible for a glourious coffer you will get one glorious coffer and one regular coffer.

  • Set and style items from blackwood or deadlands from reward coffers in blackwood or deadlands)
  • Set and Style items from reward coffers from the Dread Cellar, Red Petal Bastion, Black Drake Villa or The Cauldron dungeons

  • furnishing recipes
  • saleable treasures
  • companion gear

Can you earn Event Tickets?
During the Gates of Oblivion Celebration event you can earn 2 Event tickets per day per account from following actvities:
  • Completing your first daily delve or world boss repeatable quest in Blackwood or the Deadlands
  • Killing and looting the final boss of the Dread Cellar, Red Petal Bastion, Black Drake Villa and The Cauldron dungeons
  • or completing the weekly repeatable trial quest for the Rockgrove trial
