What are Event Collectibles in the Elder Scrolls Online?
ESO adds each quarter new event collectibles which you can acquire with event Tickets.
First you need to collect fragments for base collectible, the Soulfire Dragon Illusion.
Then you need to obtain upgrade fragments to morph the base element into a new special collectible.

Which is the Event Collectible for the first Quarter of 2022?
In 2022 you can morph the Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet into the Scales of Akatosh Skin.
What items do you need to collect to unlock Scales of Akatosh Skin?
During each ESO Event in the first Quarter of 2022 the Impresario Event Merchant will offer Scales of Akatosh Skin Fragments.
You have to obtain the:
- Aureate Anointing Oils fragment
- Lustrous Ritual Sand fragment
- Sacred Scale fragment
Each Scales of Akatosh Fragment is available for 10 event tickets at the
Impresario Event Merchant
Not all fragments are immediately available. ESO adds each event new Scales of Akatosh fragments to the Impresarios shop.
How many Event Tickets does the Scales of Akatosh Skin cost in total?
You need 15 Event Tickets to obtain the Soulfire Illusion pet and additional 30 Tickets to get all the Scales of Akatosh upgrade fragments.
That means you need in total 45 Tickets to obtain the Scales of Akatosh Skin.

How can I add the Scales of Akatosh to my Collection?
After you collected the Soulfire Dragon Illusion and the three Scales of Akatosh Fragments (Aureate Anointing Oils fragment, Lustrous Ritual Sand fragment and Sacred Scale fragment) you have to combine the parts to unlock the Scales of Akatosh Skin.
Go to your Collections
Fragments
Scales of Akatosh
right click on any of the fragments
click combine and then the Scales of Akatosh is added to your collection.
Which Event Collectibles can you obtain in 2022 in the Elder Scrolls Online?
Each Quarter of 2022 you can earn a new and unique Event Collecible during events.
Which means that you can obtain four new collectibles in 2022.
So far we know that you can upgrade the Soulfire Dragon Illusion in the first Quarter of 2022 into the Scales of Akatosh Skin.
- First Quarter (January - March): Scales of Akatosh Skin
- Second Quarter (April - June): Aurelic Quasigriff Mount
- Third Quarter (July - September): Daggerfall Paladin Costume
- Fourth Quarter (October - December): Sacred Hourglass of Akatosh
What will happen with the Soulfire Dragon Illusion when I morph it?
The Soulfire Dragon Illusion will be consumed in the morph process and is removed from your collection.
But you can reaquire it by purchasing the three Soulfire Dragon Illusion fragments again from the
Impresario Event Merchant
during all in events in 2022.
How can you obtain Event Tickets?
Event Tickets are obtained via in-game activities during Events.
You can also buy Event Tickets via the Crown Store.
Which ESO Events are active in the first Quarter of 2022?
- Daedric War Celebration Event - January (20th of January – 1st of February, 2022)
- Whitestrake's Mayhem Event - February
- Jester's Festival - March
The Impresario will offer the Scales of Akatosh fragments only during Events in the first Quarter of 2022.
What can I do if I have missed some fragments?
The Impresario Event Merchant offers in 2022 all year long the Soulfire Pet fragments during each event.
You should always try to obtain the upgrade fragments during their active Quarter.
But in the past years ESO brought back collectibles during the
New Life Festival
in December, but I don't know if that will the case this year too.
