What is the Bog Dog Pet?
The Bog Dog Pet is a non-combat pet.
How can you earn the Bog Dog Pet?
You have to complete the Lost in the Wilds achievement in Blackwood to unlock the Bog Dog pet.
What do I have to do to complete the Lost in the Wilds achievement?
To start the adventure you have to find Toomon's note: I need your Help.
You can find the note west of the Blackwood Crossroads Wayshrine in Blackwood.
Toomon will request your help and ask you to find and eliminate three Hunters in Blackwood.
Where can I find the three Hunters?
Fjaldar the Vicious:
Fjaldar the Vicious can be found in the hills west of Leyawiin.
Vasha the Wicked:
Vasha the Wicked can be found in the swamps north of Gideon.
Binghim the Quick:
Binghim the Quick can be found east of Stonewastes in the swamp.
If you play on PC I recommend to install the Addon: Map Pins and activate the Map filter: Blackwood.
That will add markers for you on your Map in the Elder Scrolls Online.
What do I have to do after i eliminated the three Hunters?
After you defeated all three hunters return to the camp at the Blackwood Crossroads Wayshrine where we started our journey.
There you will find now a new letter from Toomon: Your assistance is Appreciated.
Read the letter and follow the instructions. Next you have to find and enter any Oblivion Portal in Blackwood.
Inside the Oblivion portal follow the path until the final room.
There you will find Bethany, which is Toomon's precious.
Pet Bethany and complete the Lost in the Wilds achievement.
And then the Bog Dog is added to your collection.
Is it part of the ESO Base game or do I need a DLC or ESO plus subscription?
You need have access to Blackwood to be able to acquire the Bog Dog pet.
Blackwood will be available as a DLC when the next Chapter is released (May/June 2022).
It will be then also part of the ESO plus subscription.
