What are Polymorphs in the Elder Scrolls Online?

Polymorphs are collectible items which are transforming your characters look completely. They are purely cosmetic and don`t have any impact on your characters strength.

How can you use Polymorphs in the the Elder Scrolls Online?

To equip a Polymorphs you have to open your Inventory Collections Appearance Polymorphs activate a Polymorph of your choice.

How can you obtain Polymorphs in the Elder Scrolls Online?

There are several ways how you can obtain Polymorphs. You can earn some Polymorphs via in-game activites. And there are also Polymorphs purchasable in the Crown Store, with Crown Gems or part of Crown Crates.

Which Polymorphs can I earn via ingame activities in the Elder Scrolls Online?

Cadaverous Assassin Polymorph

You can unlock the Cadaverous Assassin Polymorph by completing the Litany of Blood Achievement. Speak with Nevusa in the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary to begin the Litany of Blood quest. To complete Litany of Blood Achievement you have to assassinate 15 specific Targets with the Blade of Woe across Tamriel. You need The Dark Brotherhood DLC or an active ESO plus subscription to get access to the Gold Coast. Take a look at my Litany of Blood Guide if you want to know more.

Clockwork Curator Polymorph

The Clockwork Curator Polymorph is a very rare drop in Asylum Sanctorium Trial. Defeat the boss St. Olms with both of his allies St. LLothis and St. Felms in the same battle in the Asylum Sanctorium Trial on veteran difficulty. Only under this circumstances you have a very race chance to get Runebox: Clockwork Reliquary. Use the Runebox: Clockwork Reliquary to add the Clockwork Curator Polymorph to your collection. The Clockwork Curator Polymorph will override any equipped personality. You need the Clockwork City DLC or an active ESO plus subscription to get access to the Asylum Sanctorium Trial.

Maelstrom Baron Polymorph

The Maelstrom Baron polymorph is acquired by completing Maelstrom Arena in veteran difficulty. The Maelstrom Arena is a solo arena. You need the Orsinium DLC or an active ESO plus subscription to get access to the Maelstrom Arena.

Skeleton Polymorph

You can unlock the Skeleton Polymorph by completing the Quest the Bargain's End in Shadowfen.

Speak with Chieftain Suhlak in Stillrise Village to start the Quest the Bargain's End in Shadowfen. It does not matter what is your decision for the Village you will get either way the skeleton polymorph. Shadowfen is part of the base game and you don't need any DLC or Chapter.

Xivkyn Augur Polymorph

You have a chance to find the Xivkyn Augur Polymorph in Imperial Reward Containers or bought from the Tel Var General Merchants. Try your luck and purchase an Imperial Reward Container for 1500 Tel Var Stones from the Tel Var General Merchants in the Imperial City If you open the Imperial Reward Containers you have a small chance to get the Xivkyn Augur Polymorph. Or you can purchase for 250 000 Tel Var Stones the Xivkyn Augur Polymorph from the Tel Var General Merchant and unlock the Polymorph immediately. To gain access to the Imperial City you need the Imperial City DLC which you can claim for free via the Crown Store.
You can buy or sell the Runebox: Xivkyn Augur at Guild Traders for Gold too.

Xivkyn Dreadguard Polymorph

You have a chance to find the Xivkyn Dreadguard Polymorph in Imperial Reward Containers or bought from the Tel Var General Merchants . Try your luck and purchase an Imperial Reward Container for 1500 Tel Var Stones from the Tel Var General Merchants in the Imperial City . If you open the Imperial Reward Containers you have a small chance to get the Xivkyn Dreadguard Polymorph. The Accursed Death Polymorph was part of the Nightfall Crates.

Bloodroot Spriggan Polymorph

You could purchase the Bloodroot Spriggan for 500 Crown Gems for a limited time in the Crown Store. Also you could acquire it for 7200 Seals of Endeavour.

Draugr Polymorph

The Draugr Polymorph was part of the Sovngarde Crates.

Dread Anka-Ra Polymorph

You could purchase the Dread Anka-Ra Polymorph for 1200 Crowns for a limited time in the Crown Store.

Factotum Polymorph

You could purchase the Factotum Polymorph for 2000 Crowns for a limited time in the Crown Store. Additionally the Factotum Polymorph was also part of the Baandari Pedlar crown Crates.

Iron Atronach Polymorph

The Iron Atronach Polymorph was part of the Iron Atronach Crates.

Pumpkin Spectre Polymorph

You could purchase the Pumpkin Spectre Polymorph for 1200 Crowns for a limited time in the Crown Store. Usually the Polymorph returns in the Crown Store in October.

Scarecrow Spectre Polymorph

You could purchase the Scarecrow Spectre Polymorph for 1200 Crowns for a limited time in the Crown Store. Usually the Polymorph returns in the Crown Store in October.

Sylvan Spriggan Polymorph

You could purchase the Sylvan Spriggan Polymorph for 500 Crown Gems for a limited time in the Crown Store.

Werewolf Lord Polymorph

You could purchase the Werewolf Lord Polymorph for 1200 Crowns for a limited time in the Crown Store. Usually the Polymorph returns in the Crown Store in October.
