What is the Zone Guide in the Elder Scrolls Online?
The Zone Guide was released 2019 for the Elder Scrolls Online and helps players to play through and complete zones.
The Zone Guide offers a overview of locations and activities found in a zone and helps you to find these places.
How can I access the Zone Guide?
You can open the Zone Guide via the Group & Activity Finder and select here the Zone Guide.
Another way to open the Zone Guide is when you open your map. You can see on the left side an overview of your Map completion.
And below the map completion you can click on Open Zone Guide to switch to the Zone Guide overview.
By default the Zone Guide displays the progress of the Zone you are currently visiting.
Which places can I find with the help of the Zone Guide?
The Zone Guide shows an overview of achievements you still have to work on, which are in progress or which achievements are completed.
Additionally you can see and overview of your progress of Zone Story Quests, wayshrines, points of interest, delves, striking locales, set stations,
Mundus Stones, world bosses, Public Dungeons, World Events for example Dolmens, skyshards and Shalidor's Library books.
Keep in mind it depends on the Zone. Some Zones in the Elder Scrolls online don't have for example have world events, public dungeons etc. available.
Mouse over each icon to get more in depth information of your progress.
How can I track a Zone Quest with the help of the Zone Guide?
By default the Zone Guide displays the Zone you are visiting at the moment.
If you want to explore a different place choose a Zone via the drop down menu.
Below the map completion you find the button: Start Zone Story
Click on that and the Zone Guide will show you on the map where to find the quest giver and also adds a quest marker.
If you already completed the Zone Story Questline the button will change to Explore Zone and will help you to find other interesting places in that Zone.
How can I continue or stop tracking my activities via the Zone Guide?
Open the Zone Guide via the Group & Activity Finder.
Below the Map Completion click on the button: Continue Zone Story.
If you already completed the Zone Story click on the button: Explore Zone.
To stop the the Tracking you have to click below the Map Completion on the button: Stop Tracking.
Can I find different places with the help of the Zone Guide?
First the Zone Guide will point you to the Main Zone Quest Storyline.
After you completed the Zone Storyline the Zone Guide will point you to other unfinished places in this Zone, such as Delves, Wayhsrines and more.
